The challenge

A large number of containers are to be lifted onto a platform:

At the same time, the machine is to be used at different locations, which is why it was designed to be mobile and easy to move.

A special holder was developed for the two different pallet sizes and the different drums, making the machine suitable for universal use.

Due to the limited space available, the pallet holder on the machine was designed on the side instead of the usual front.

Coordination with the manufacturer of the platform was also necessary as part of the project. Both the lifting column and the platform or railing are mobile and should be positioned differently in the room in some cases.

Solution and benefit

If space is required, the lifting column can be moved out of the way.

This may be necessary, for example, to facilitate access or to clear the area for other work.

When it is in use, it is stable and it is possible to bring a large number of products onto the platform, for example many small barrels on a pallet, which would otherwise have to be carried up manually, one by one.

The (larger) drums can be tipped directly into the hopper.

Result, outcome

In close coordination, a special solution was developed that meets all the customer's requirements. A universal handling product completely in ATEX design, which is operated stationary but is also mobile.
